This is the first Aston Martin ever customized by the company, considered the most complex and sophisticated work in its history.
A reimagined British icon
The “OCTAVIA” was born from a donor 1971 DBS and was completely redesigned to merge British tradition with extreme modernity. With more than 12,000 hours of work, the result is a car that blends American muscle with English sophistication, while preserving the spirit of hot rodding, according to co-founders Mike and Jim Ring.
The model received a carbon fiber body, inspired by the original design of William Towns, but with more muscular and striking proportions. Its track was widened by up to 10 inches and the wheelbase adjusted to ensure greater rigidity and stability.
Power and cutting-edge engineering
Under the hood, the “OCTAVIA” houses a 5.0-liter Ford Performance V8 engine with a 2.65-liter Harrop supercharger, delivering 805 hp paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.
The mechanical package is supported by a FAST TRACK chassis from Roadster Shop, Fox RS SV coilovers, exclusive HRE/Ragle Design wheels, and custom 14-inch Brembo brakes.
Details that impress
The exterior finish received Double-0 Silver paint with Nuclear Olive Green accents. Inside, highlights include the carbon fiber dashboard, 3D-printed stainless steel components, and pleated leather. Even the details embrace creativity: the oil dipstick was machined into the shape of a martini glass, and the brand’s emblems were given an ironic twist, now reading “Aston Martini.”
Another highlight is the debut of Gentex Corporation’s auto-dimming visors in a street car, along with a camera system rivaling the cinematic creations of Q-Branch from the James Bond franchise.
A masterpiece of customization
“We asked ourselves: what would an MI6 agent drive on vacation? The result was the ‘OCTAVIA’,” said Jim Ring. “This project goes beyond anything we’ve ever done. It’s a true celebration of engineering, design, and automotive imagination.”
The debut in Monterey cements Ringbrothers as one of the most influential names in the restomod universe and establishes the “OCTAVIA” as one of the most iconic builds of the Monterey Car Week 2025.
